According to the new bill, if caught in India with a valid passport or without valid visa, you will have to pay a sentence of 5 years and a financial penalty of up to 5 lakhs. If caught using fake documents, then you may have to pay a sentence of 2 to 7 years and a fine of 1 to 10 lakh rupees. If a violation of visa law or caught in a restricted area, a fine of up to 3 lakh rupees can be imposed in jail for up to 3 years.
